Dancing With The Stars is always full of surprises and this All-Star season is no exception.

Last night, America did not vote off Bristol Palin who had the lowest score this week, but instead booted funny man Joey Fatone and partner Kym Johnson.

They were the first couple of the night to be declared “in jeopardy” by Tom Bergeron and unfortunately became among the bottom two couples left standing.  Always keeping in good spirits,  Fatone said a few parting words before leaving the dance floor.

“I’m going to miss everyone out here. Everybody was great!  I’m actually going to a wedding tomorrow, so I don’t give a damn, I’m going to have good time.  People said I was fun and that’s all that matters.”

Former DWTS champion Helio Castroneves and partner Chelsie Hightower were also among the bottom two of the night with Fatone.

Many others from the cast showed genuine disappointment with Fatone’s exit.  Host Brooke Burke Charvet said, “Who’s going to make us laugh in rehearsals now,” while Carrie Ann Inaba shared her feelings over twitter.

This week’s frontrunners Sabrina Ryan and partner Louis Van Amstel kicked off the night with their much adored quickstep per the judges’ request and were the first to be declared safe.

Drew Lachey, who knows what it’s like to be at the bottom, couldn’t have been more appreciative to stay on for another week.

Last night, pop superstar Cher Loyd sang her new hit single “Want U Back” in a circus-themed setting while former contestant and classical singer Katherine Jenkins appeared with the great Placido Domingo for their rendition of “Come What May.”

Next week, the show will see two of its All-Stars go in their first double elimination of the season.  Who will be next?
