Sabrina Bryan Finds Her Prince, Gilles Marini Loses His Pants on ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Guilty pleasure week continued last night on Dancing With The Stars as Melissa Rycroft, Shawn Johnson, Apolo Anton Ohno and Sabrina Bryan attempted to show a different side of themselves.

The four All-Stars, who performed their group dance to Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” on Monday, each managed to let go of their tough exterior for one night and show a little vulnerability.

Only days before competing, Melissa was being rushed to the hospital with a neck injury. But she managed to work through the pain for her mad scientist-themed tango to Britney Spears’ “Toxic.”

Though judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli thought there could have been more precision to her moves, Carrie Ann Inaba thought they should cut her a little slack, calling her performance “gritty and completely in character.”

In the end, Melissa’s injury didn’t seem to hurt her score one bit. She finished the night with a total of 27 points.

Shawn and partner, Derek Hough tugged at the judges heartstrings with their romantic rhumba to Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” While Shawn admitted it was hard for her to reveal her emotional side after years of gymnastics where she was taught to keep her feelings to herself, she managed to recreate the love story of Titanic. Derek even channeled Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Jack with his costume and the dramatic ending where he like, Jack, gave his spot away to his lady.

While Carrie said she felt like a “proud mama” and Bruno called the performance flawless, Len thought their dance didn’t quite meet his expectations. In the end though, the couple were able to earn a score of 27.

After a disappointing fall last week, Apolo Anton Ohno and partner, Karina Smirnoff, felt they needed to kick things up a notch.

Wearing a leopard shirt to show off his wild side, Apolo thrusted his way through his Samba to Rick James’ “Give It To Me Baby.”

Len thought it was a little too much, but Bruno called the dance “terribly sexy,” earning the couple another score of 27.

Sabrina and Louis Van Amstel’s waltz was a sweet ode to Disney’s Cinderella. Looking every bit the princess, the singer showed her softer side with her ballroom dance to “So This Is Love,” even leaving a shoe behind as the clock turned midnight. Or as host, Tom Bergeron pointed out an extra shoe.

Her decision to go soft earned her one ten and a score of 29, the highest one of the night.

But the night wasn’t over, the four other dancers—Kelly Monaco, Kirstie Alley, Emmitt Smith, Gilles Marini—got a chance to show off their moves to Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”

Dressed in color-coordinated suits, the four all-stars and their partners came out knowing they would need to be perfect to beat the other team, who earned a 29.5 with their performance the night before.

Team “Gangnam Style” wasn’t perfect, but they were certainly fun. Kirstie and partner, Maks Chmerkovskiy did cartwheels, while Gilles ended up in a towel.

Bruno later asked for a towel to help calm himself down. Gilles politely offered to lend him the one he was wearing, showing off his tighthy whities.

Unfortunately, even Gilles in his underwear couldn’t earn them a perfect score, but a 29 is certainly nothing to sneeze at.  Gilles was certainly proud of his teammates and who doesn’t want to check watch that performance again?

With no elimination this week, two dancers will have to pack their bands and go home next time.

Here are the final scores of the night:

Gilles Marini – 29.5

Sabrina Bryan- 29

Emmit Smith- 29

Melissa Rycroft- 27

Shawn Johnson- 27

Apolo Anton Ohno- 27
