My name is Petunia, and I was brought to BHS after I wandered into someone’s yard with a cable wire wrapped around my neck. The staff took me in, and now I am ready for them to help me find my forever home. I am a lively and energetic girl who would love a family that can keep up with me! Hiking, long walks, play time in the yard…you name it, I’ll love it! I have to tell you that I don’t “show well” in my kennel run here at the shelter; I just get so excited to see people, I don’t know what to do with myself! Please don’t judge me by that. If you want to see the real me, ask a staff member to take me into our visitation room or for a walk. I can be “dog selective” (just like people!), so if you have another dog at home, the staff here will schedule a meet-and-greet between us to see how we get along. If you have children, it would be best if they are at least 10 years old. I am a very happy girl who will bring joy to your life and make a beloved companion, if you just give me a chance!     1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136, Ph: 410-833-8848
