Mmmmm…Exceptional eats in The Nite Lite Kitchen this week! My mom made this amazing hot crab dip and my husband scooped up the recipe from her. If you love crabs, you’re going to love this.

This hot crab dip is the perfect taste for holidays, parties, and for watching sporting events. Fran’s mother (the best mother-in-law by the way) gave me this rich, delectable recipe and it is a real crowd pleaser. Be sure to have plenty of chips on hand! Enjoy. Tom~

Marge’s Hot Crab Dip

(2) 8 oz packages light cream cheese (softened) / 1/2 pint sour cream / 4 tbsps mayonnaise / 1 tsp Worcestershire / 1 tsp dry mustard / 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning / 1 tsp garlic powder (optional) / 1 lb crab meat (picked over for shells) / grated cheddar cheese / paprika or ground cayenne pepper

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Mix all the ingredients except the cheese and paprika or cayenne together in a large bowl. Place the mixture in an oven safe casserole dish and top with grated cheese. Sprinkle the paprika or cayenne pepper on top and place in oven. Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Serve hot with plenty of chips.
