Quick, elegant baked brie. Fast and rich eggnog French toast. A port wine cheese ball made in seconds.

My Baked Brie is so simple.


1 tube of crescent rolls

Cooking spray

1 round or wedge of rippened brie cheese

Roll out the crescent rolls and separate the dough to form around the wheel of brie. Cover it completely. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray cooking spray on foil covered cookie sheet. Bake in oven for about 20 minutes.

Serve warm. You can eat it with Carr’s Water Crackers or eat the brie alone. I like to garnish the brie with a cookie cutter shape. So before I bake it, I will cut out a star or Christmas tree on top and sprinkle with a little parsley. I surround the brie with apples and grapes.

Port wine cheese ball


Just buy a tub of good port wine cheese

Almonds (crushed)

Scoop out the port wine and form a ball. Roll it in the almonds. Instant party, right?

Eggnog French Toast


Small baguette

Eggnog (pre-made store brand)


Soak the sliced baguette in the egg nog overnight. Preheat the oven 350 degrees and bake the egg nog soaked French toast for about 10 minutes (watch it so it doesn’t get overbaked). Sprinkle Allspice on the slices. Brown if desired in the frying pan for a few minutes. Top with a cinnamon stick or syrup. It is a rich, but an easy Christmas Day brunch food.
