This is not about the Civil War, but a love story, after the war, that has a terrible ending in Gettysburg. The story about “The Lady In White” goes…

It is the 1880s, a young woman met her lover at the famous Civil War site, Spangler’s Spring. It was their favorite spot. One day he told her that the relationship was over. Apparently he didn’t tell her he was committed to another. Legend has it, she took her life, dying in his arms. Some have experienced a “mist” rising from the spring area. The Lady In White is said to haunt the areas. In the mist she is walking head down, stopping often and bending over, as if she’s looking for something. Her lover maybe or a ring? Look at pics of the “mist” below. You might see her!!!
