Looking for something to do over the holiday?  No worries---- there are plenty of holiday events all over town!  Here are just a few!  We'll update the list throughout the season! 

NOVEMBER 23-25:  FESTIVAL OF TREES

Take a look at more than 700 uniquely-decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses---- if you purchase one, you'll be helpoing teh support the children at Kennedy Krieger Institure.  There's also live entertainment on stage, music, activities and rides for kids, so come on by. NOVEMBER 22-DECEMBER 24: CHRISTMAS VILLAGE IN BALTIMORE

Experience the magic of an authentic German Christmas market at Baltimore's Inner Harbor....vendors in more than 50 booths will sell traditional European food, sweets and drinks. They also offer a great shopping experience with a large variety of international holiday gifts, ornaments, jewelry and high-quality arts and crafts. Click here for the website.

 

NOVEMBER 24 - JANUARY 1:  MIRACLE ON 34th STREET

Miracle on 34th Street is a must-attend!  Each year, the residents of this famous block in Hampden go all-out, with some of the most amazing Christmas decorations you've ever seen!  Park nearby then walk to 34th Street and check out the lights, from 6pm to 11pm each night. (On December 24 and December 31, the lights will stay on all night!) 

 

NOVEMBER 22 - DECEMBER 30:  SYMPHONY OF LIGHTS

The annual drive-through light display to benefir the Howard County Hospital Foundation takes opens on Thanksgiving night, November 22, then takes place every Wednesday through Sunday nights in Columbia, through December 30, from 6pm to 10pm each night.  (One exception:  the Festive Families Walk gives people a chance to see the light displays on foot on Sunday night, December 2).  Details are here. 

 

NOVEMBER 30:  BALTIMORE COUNTY TREE LIGHTING

The 2018 Baltimore County Tree Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place from 6 - 8 p.m by the traffic circle in Towson. Festivities include holiday performances, the tree lighting ceremony, hot chocolate, cookies, Santa's arrival by fire truck, and more! 
Free parking is available after 5 p.m. at 111 Allegheny Avenue parking garage.

 

DECEMBER 6:  MONUMENT LIGHTING

The 47th annual Downtown Partnership Monument Lighting will take place Thursday, December 6, 5-8pm with a holiday village, photos with Santa, and live performances from Kristen Toedtman & The Community Chorus of Peabody, OrchKids, City College Choir, and Morgan State Choir. Stick around for a grand firework finale at 8pm .Here is more information, including a list of holiday village vendors.
