Cat Work-Outs

My kitty Milo, (pic above), has been putting on a few extra pounds in his old age of 13. My vet suggested a diet and more activity. So he is cutting back on his treats, (he loves Greenies) and more play time will be added. From the Huffington Post, most house cats spend the majority of their time snoozing. It’s actually not unusual for cats to sleep an average of 15 hours per day!. According to a 2016 survey by the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention, about 59 percent of cats are overweight.

Now we can't put our cats on treadmills or get them to lift weights. I did a little research, there are ways for them to lose weight while having fun with you! Creative, cheap ways to get your cat in tip top shape, for a long, healthy life.
