Fallston's Log Cabin Candy Company Is Back

Go local for Valentine's Day

February 11, 2019

When I was a kid, my family would go to Log Cabin Candy in Fallston to help the "Easter Bunny" with the baskets. My hubby and I started a new Valentine's tradition this weekend, we got our chocolate hearts and other goodies from Log Cabin. They closed recently and now back open, bigger and better than ever! They have been in the candy making business for 98 years. Bernald Rudell worked for a candymaker during the Great Depression. At that time he purchased one Easter bunny mold and began making seasonal chocolates at his home in Baltimore City in the 1930’s. Log Cabin is a Harford County community favorite. I can remember my school doing fundrasiers with them.
