One of the reasons the Greenbrier Resort is so amazing, the credit goes to the amazing world-famous Dorothy Draper interior design. According to the Greenbrier, Dorothy Draper was a pioneer in interior design, dominating the field from 1925 to 1960 when she was named the most influential tastemaker in America. This woman wasn't affraid to paint a door green! Or decorate with big bold colors and many flowers.

My favorite things to do at the Greenbrier is wonder from room to room, to see Draper's styles and use of color. It never goes out of style! The Greenbrier works to restore and keep her designs alive. They even have their own upholstry department on site. Many other hotels have used Draper's designs like the Grand Hotel in Michigan, The Breakers Palm Beach and Arrowhead Springs in California.
