This summer, my husband and I stumbled across this beautiful covered bridge near Gettysburg. It was built in 1854, also known as Sauck's Bridge, spans over the 100 feet long Marsh Creek.

There have been reports of hauntings. Locals report a "strange" fog that would form a ghostly figure. Images of orbs taken by visitors at the bridge.

Stories of hearing cannons being fired in the distance and feeling a "tap" on their shoulder, with no one there. Creepy! Some people smell the strong scent of cigar smoke while no one is around.

Ghost hunters claim Sachs Covered Bridge is one of the most haunted places in Gettysburg.
