Greetings Stargazers! The Leonid Meteor Shower peaks late Saturday night into Sunday morning. The annual November shower has been known to produce some of the most intense meteor storms in history-at times the Leonids have had a fall rate as high as 50,000 per hour in some years. Unfortunately, this year's shower won't be quite that spectacular. The American Meteor Society predicts that skywatchers can expect to see about 15 meteors per hour. It's still worth looking out for. So if you're up late this Saturday night and the sky is clear, be sure to keep an eye out for the Leonids!
