Outdoor Dining Drive-In Theaters Return Friday at 5pm Pools Can Reopen At 25% Capacity Youth Camps Of 10 Or Less

Today at 5pm, Governor Larry Hogan announced the near completion of Stage One of the "Maryland Strong: Roadmap To Recovery." Effective Friday, May 29th at 5 pm, outdoor dining at restaurants and social organizations like American Legion/Elks/VFW can resume socially distanced and following strict public health guidelines. Youth sports activiites can resume following CDC guidelines as well as youth day camps of no more than 10 individuals. Hogan also announced outdoor pools may reopen at 25% capacity restrictions and strict protocols. 

Drive-movie theaters can also reopen this Friday at 5 pm. Bengie's Drive-In tweeted their thanks and support to Marylanders:

 

Earlier today the Governor announced and tweeted that 2 new testing sites are opening in Prince George's County including one at Six Flags America opening Friday: 

Hogan also stressed the importance of personal responsibility-things like continuing to: Avoid Crowds, Wear Masks and Social Distance, Avoid Public Transit, and Telework Is Encouraged Indefinitely

The Governor also said, "Stage 2 is possible as early as next week, but no there is no exact date." He will continue to monitor numbers with his Coronavirus Response Team.
