Gina Crash recently sat down with Amanda Pugh, Maryland Center for the Arts, (MDCFA), Operations Manager and Bruno Baren, Chairman of the Harford Plein Air Festival & the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painter's Association.

The Maryland Center for the Arts provides programs for artists and the public to come together to display and experience art, creating easy access for Marylanders of all ages and backgrounds. They are currently raising funds to build and create a space to provide a full service arts campus in Harford County including a community center and amphitheater for artists to host events.

Each year, MDCFA hosts the Harford Plein Air Festival which is going on now thru October 12th in various locations in Harford County. Plein Air is a French term for painting outdoors to capture the natural light and beauty of landscapes for which Harford County is known.
