Local Filmmakers Launch Media Program To Empower Young Boys To Create Their Own Narrative

Gina Crash recently sat down with local filmmaker and "Reflection of Kings" co-founder, Bobby Marvin Holmes. Holmes and Ras Tre Subira have launched a new media program for boys ages 10-13, "Reflection of Kings," to teach them how they can create their own narrative through film, podcast, and photography to change public perception, produce positive media and showcase issues surrounding social injustice of African American males.

The filmmakers are hosting the program's Open House Saturday, September 14th from 10am-Noon at the Center for Urban Families in Baltimore.
