Our pal David DeBoy stopped by to perform his classic "Crabs for Christmas" on the Today's 101.9 Morning Show.  He even helped me come up with questions for a special crab-themed "Freaky Friday" edition of The College of Knowledge. Greg got a clean sweep, (all 3 questions correct), and contestant Mark meatloafed, (two out of three ain't bad.) Coincidentally, one of the prizes was a $100 gift certificate to Pappas Restaurant, home of the award winning colossal crab cakes!

It's hard to believe David wrote and recorded "Crabs for Christmas" back in 1981! And it's still going strong in 2018. David says the song caught on especially with Baltimore natives who move out of the area and miss Charm City and can't find decent crabs! "No not scrod!' as the song says.

You can order the CD online at crabsforchristmas.com for anyone who wants to hear a piece of Baltimore tradition.

And don't miss the "Crabs For Christmas" concert Sunday, December 16th at Germano's Piattini in Little Italy, Baltimore of course, Hon!
