Michelle Obama Make a Surprise Appearance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards
The former first lady was joined on stage by Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Alicia Keys, and Jennifer Lopez

SURPRISE! Former first lady Michelle Obama joined Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Lopez and host Alicia Keys on stage Sunday at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards. Talk about GIRL POWER!

They each shared about the role of music in their lives.
When it was Obama's turn to speak the room erupted in applause before she could even get a word out! After calming down the crowd, the former first lady went on to give a short, powerful monologue about how music impacts her life and bring all us together.
"Music has always helped me tell my story," Obama said to the crowd.
